FDA Tobacco Retailer Compliance Training Sessions, September 2010

The FDA Center for Tobacco Products will hold training sessions on new federal tobacco regulations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles.  Retailers who sell tobacco are encouraged to attend in person or participate by phone or webcast.

Oregon Prevention Conference: Prevention.  Promotion.  Possibilities* September 15-17, 2010, University of Oregon, Eugene

This conference will provide participants with the latest research, prevention strategies, and best practices regarding the prevention and health promotion across disciplines.  The goals for this conference are: (1) highlight Oregon and the Pacific Northwest’s outstanding research and data, and (2) increase knowledge on current research and provide evidence-based strategies and tools that will assist communities in strengthening new and existing programs that decrease adverse health effects.
