The Northwest Health Foundation seeks to prepare local health departments for the national public health department accreditation process. Proposals for accreditation work can request up to $10,000 per project – which could cover direct costs such as consultant and meeting expenses, technical assistance, and application fees.
MATCH Funding to address social/economic determinants of health – deadline April 27
A new Community Grants program from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation called Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) is open to communities ready to take action to address social and economic factors that affect health. Up to 14 grants will be awarded with awards up to $200,000 for up to 24 months to implement their proposed policy or systems change strategy. Eligible organizations include nonprofits, tribal organizations, and state or local agencies.
