Workforce Education Survey
Oregon MPH has partnered with NW Center for Public Health Practice in Seattle to collaborative on academic-practice collaborations that support public health workforce education. One of the major events each summer is the Public Health Institute in Seattle. This survey will help define the kinds of training and format that will be of most use to public health practitioners in Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, and Idaho.

This webinar highlights two of the 20 communities that NACCHO and NALBOH have worked with since 2008. Tobacco prevention and control leaders from communities in Kentucky and New York will describe their action planning process and highlight successes and challenges with policy efforts, and more.
Webinar: Bike Sharing in the United States – State of the Practice and Guide to Implementation — April 26th at noon (PT)
Since 2008, more than 20 jurisdictions have been able to implement bike sharing in their communities. As bike sharing continues to gain popularity throughout the US, guidance on how to plan and implement is necessary to achieve a successful program.
2012 Community Policy Forms
Hosted by the Office of Equity and Inclusion, Community Based Organizations will be invited to share three-five short term and long term policy priorities that will improve the health and well-being of their community. This information will be used to inform the Office of Equity and Inclusion’s legislative priorities and overall policy platform. Lunch/Dinner will be served.
