The Oregon Health Authority’s Center for Health Protection will host a Health Impact Assessment Training on August 23 at Medford Public Library. This training will introduce the foundations of HIA to stakeholders in Southern Oregon and provide assistance in preparing a strong application for the Oregon Health Authority’s HIA mini-grants.
On August 23 from 11 AM – 12:30 PM, the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America will host a webinaron tobacco prevention and control, A Framework for Disseminating Tobacco Prevention Messages and Implementing Effective Strategies in Your Community. Presenters will provide an overview of practiced-based tobacco control frameworks along with concrete tools and strategies to help inform the local community about coalition initiatives and activities.
