Applied Research and Guidelines Development Fellowship, Obesity Prevention and Control Branch, Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA
Project Description:
A fellowship opportunity is available with the Applied Research and Guidelines Development Team of the Obesity Prevention and Control Branch in the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO) within the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This project will provide the selected participant with experience in designing, implementing monitoring and evaluation systems and environmental change approaches for obesity prevention and control in the early care and education (ECE) setting. S/he will collaborate in the development of a new systems/environment focused indicator reports and briefs related to obesity and improve DNPAO’s capacity to provide technical assistance and support for designing, implementing and evaluating setting-specific interventions grounded in system/environmental change strategies.
