$9000 grant opportunity for School Districts
Health Resources in Action (HRiA) is seeking applications from school districts across the country to participate in an economic assessment of the implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) programs. Both exposure to pests and to pesticides may trigger an asthma episode for some children! And asthma is one of the leading causes of chronic absenteeism! This study is designed to inform school district decision making nationwide.
Share this with the appropriate people in your district (e.g. Facilities Director, Lead Custodian, Grants Manager) or with contacts you have in districts. For more info or to apply, go to http://asthmaregionalcouncil.org/ipm-apply/.
