Public Health Fellowship
A research fellowship opportunity is currently available in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), based in Seattle, Washington.
OASH Region X encompasses the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. This position will support HHS/OASH/Surgeon General and Region X Priorities and Initiatives related to disease prevention and health promotion. This project will focus on the Tobacco-Free College Campus Initiative (TFCCI), Adult Immunizations/Adult Immunization Plan, Opiate Use Reduction, Let’s Move! Cities, Towns, and Counties (LMCTC) and other public health programs. The fellow will participate by providing support and/or leadership under the direction of the Regional Health Administrator (RHA) in collaboration with the OASH Region X staff on various projects of public significance and function as a member of the Region X OASH Team.
