The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), co-leaders of Million Hearts® within HHS, are working alongside other federal agencies and private-sector organizations to make a long-lasting impact against cardiovascular disease.

The Multnomah County Domestic & Sexual Violence Coordination Office and the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs are pleased to announce the first She Also Served Summit, a full day of presentations, networking, and exploring effective ways to serve women veterans.

Women are often overlooked in the conversation about how best to provide support services to our nation’s veterans, yet their experiences are unique and bring with them specific needs and challenges.  We are inviting providers from across the social service system to meet one another and increase our community’s knowledge base and skill set for serving this population.
